my friend once had a temp tag (he had back surgery). every where he went, he'd have the tag with him. so my friends and i would always want to ride with him. it was like a pass for VIP parking. hahaha.
but seriously, a lot of people out there have one and don't really need it. but there is also (at least in california) a ridiculous amount of handicap parking spaces now-a-days and they're hardly filled.
