Personally I always do. But I bought the car with 25k on it. But rev match would save the clutch, don't see how that would cause these symptoms. I don't think the clutch is the problem at all. Now if I couldn't get it into gear, I could see a clutch as possible problem, but popping out of gear? Now smashing it into first before coming to a stop, I can see. Eventually I could see breaking some synchro lever engaging thingy
. If I have any momentum I do 2nd, but like I said, I'm second owner.
I'm just trilled this happened now while under warranty. I would be furious if this was out of warranty. I've only driven a couple hundred miles, but it seems to be perfect.
