But I am curious. How exactly did you lose that much weight that fast that it left loose skin? Was it a generally accepted safe way to do it or some "water only" kind of thing?

The only way that I know of when people lose weight at that pace is due to a lap band or surgery of some sort. Usually when that is the case,surgery is done to remove the excess skin from such a rapid weight loss.
