Your friend is full of sh*t. The highest FICO score you can get is an 850.
There is a more obscure credit scoring system called VantageScore that used to range from 500-960, but even they revamped their system last year to the 300-850 range. Its also calculated differently than FICO so comparing the two is meaningless.
