That's Ranger (I met him at Corvettes @ Carlisle a couple years ago). He was an Army Ranger. He's well known in the Vette realm as probably the best driver. He even has a "how-to" video for launching the car and how to shift quickly. His car is entirely stock. With DRs, he's in the high 10s.
I read a test on the SL65BS in Autoweek - they said on the track (Laguna) that the weight is VERY apparent. It is not a track star at all. The ZR1 will walk all over this car in the straight line, twisties and braking (funny how the $300K SLBS doesn't even have carbon brakes, but the $100K ZR1 does.
