Depends on how much running and the amount of rubber being laid down before the race, we could see very high degradation or a typical one because its too slippery and less abrasive.
This time pirelli is very conservative in terms of bringing the type of rubber this time.

You raise a good point, it remains to be seen how the newly laid surface acts.
That being said, I would be very surprised if it even rains a drop over the weekend. Rain is very rare at this time of year (it rains perhaps once every two months).
