Agreed on the bad coil, I can check my paperwork and provide the exact code it would throw. Send me a PM if I forget or cant find this thread again.

I had a vanos solenoid replaced (exhaust i think) ~60-70K and it threw a CEL code and was missing at the higher RPM's.
