an inch difference from what everyone else normally runs is not that much difference and if you ask me the bigger tips in general complements cars with a good amount of mods better than those little 3in tips. Btw idk what exhaust setups you've had but I can tell you that this setup is easily as loud and sounds just about the same as your expensive full on aftermarket cat backs without the god awful drone from most of them
