I'm thinking if you just lost $8k gambling in 4 hrs, the way to NOT get it back is to go back to the casino. In fact that is much more likely a way for you to end up with a Part II of this thread, where you're wondering how to get back the $16k you just lost....
I don't know for sure, though, since I don't gamble. Just seems like a bad idea.
