Happened to me a few times in the past usually my CC company's are good and catch them right away and call me to verify. One way they were getting my #'s were keyloggers from spyware and malware that were DL'ed from torrenting movies/music. But I recently got a new computer and kept it clean so not sure how they got my # this time

I only use my work computer for anything bank related because I only use it for work, never any shady Web sites.
