I was in Florida last year with friends, our 2 weeks overlapped by a week with theirs but alas I returned home two days before the race. They (the other family) decided on the off chance to go to the race simply because they had nothing else planned and had a ball at the event. He bought the 'pit passes' which allow them into the infield area and said it was the best motorsport event he had ever been at.
This year is a night event, is that better or worse? I imagine it's better because of the sun and possible sun burn issues (white English man talking
).
