The ZSP and M seats are very good, excellent compared to base seats.... But still fall short of the Recaros you can get in a lot of competitors these days. IMHO of course.

I've autocrossed an Evo with Recaro seats, i wasnt impressed. BMW ZSP seats provide better support. Just my humble opinion.
You might like the Recaros seats better but that doesnt mean BMW seats are lagging compared to its german counterparts.
