I dunno - but I'm assuming they must have done some tests and it probably looks like the OP doesn't have any stones that are too big to be passed through.
The lith doesn't completely extirpate the stones - they'd still be painful to pass through but at least they're not able to pass. Lith usually reserved for kidney stones that are perniciously too big.
