Disagree. I neither hate my job or have a very restrictive job that gives me little freedom or satisfaction during work hours. Retiring early is about financial freedom. You can still choose to work if you want but you'd never be doing it for the money. You can volunteer to help people in need and gain satisfaction there. The point is not to be restricted to someone else's time frame.
