So it wasn't built FOR scientists, but it was designed for use by people in similar fields.

What he said. I'm a biomechanist/physiologist and I work around electromagnetic and ultrasound stuff all the time. But of course, the real reason is that I liked the watch and it was a lucky coincidence.
