AMG obviously detuned the engine for the small C-Series so it's not faster stock than the E63 and CLS63 cars. But I bet it runs right with them.
What's more, it's the same engine as the 507 hp versions of other AMG cars, it's most likely an ECU tune away from matching that (maybe slight intake or exhaust changes too).

I believe the 2006 C55 was around $55K to start.
If this C63 is in the $60K ballpark, the M3 will surely have a major challenge on it's hands.
I'm sure the M3 will still outhandle the C63, but it probably won't outrun one in the sprinting department.
