You will need the following

1) Heated steering wheel with switches about $700 to $800 online

2) SZL module (this has to be ordered with option code S248) - about $450 online. This is the unit on the steering column that has your turn signals, cruise control, etc.

3) New Clockspring with option code S248 - this may come with SZL, check with parts dept

4) Heated wheel button on column - you may need to change the clamshell (upper/lower pieces) that cover the column -check with parts dept.

After you install all the components, you will need to have the SZL module coded to the car and have the steering angle sensor aligned.

If you decide to give this a go, let me know as I have a X5 that I would like to retrofit this to.
