The 2011 is the better choice, BMW's CPO warranty is good coverage. Also, the 19 inch (bigger) wheels on the 2012 might look better- but they're a pain in the butt. They easily crack and have a harsher ride, so when I ordered my 2013 335is I made sure to get the 18 inch 313 style wheels.

The 2011 and 2012 models don't have any differences im aware of, but they both lack a cigarette lighter and ash tray cover in the center console above the gear selector. If you have a radar detector, it will be a very annoying problem to work around. The 2013 model year brought back the lighter and ash tray cover for the center console.
