You're right, you'd need to cut the factory exhaust then use 2 55mm clamps to install these (or get them welded in place). I personally like the idea of exhaust clamps.

Cool thanks for the clarification, so the ends of the race pipes just slide into the resonator pipes correct?
I want to leave my resonator, but want these, so that'd be perfect.
