Looks like the E60 tailed off a couple of years before the F10 arrived, and the F10 has taken a little while to pick up - makes sense I guess.
Interestingly though even though 5 series sales are about where you'd expect in the US, they have steadily become a smaller portion of global 5er sales - which again is pretty much what we'd expect since I'm sure they'll be shifting more in China.
edit: USA figures aren't given by bodystyle, so these numbers are all based on total 5er range sales.
