Assuming you're getting enough water soluble fiber (20-30 grams a day) and get plenty of exercise, the things above could well contribute. Another possible cause is hypothyroidism. If you feel cold, have dry skin, trouble losing weight or unexplained weight gain, a visit to the doctor may be in order.
