True enough, seeing as fuel economy cars are all the rage in the States as of this moment. Economic cars that are expensive, anyways.
But, 4 cylinder engines will be cheaper than their 6 cylinder counterparts. The rest was just a pessimistic prediction on my part.\
I'd be very sad to see a 4 cylinder BMW more expensive than any of the 6 cylinder cars in their line-up though. I would hope that it would be a stellar car, with stellar options, with stellar gas mileage, at the very least then.
