I love how they talk up lasers soooo much, and then in the last paragraph they mention that little tidbit about how they really only use them indirectly through phosphorescence. Of course it's probably needed because a single laser can't make white light... maybe they can make RGB arrays and then you could just choose your own color...

I guess it could provide useful features, but it's not like you are shooting an array of tiny lasers beams out in front of the car to light things up.
