So what's up with that one spy shot of a preproduction mustang where they added like 2 inches of width on each side of the current mustang? Completely contradictory to what's going on here.

Ill believe it when I see it. unless ford has been making their frames for the mustang out of lead over the years, don't see how this is going to happen in such a short time. 400 lbs is a LOT to shed, and for a car that's supposed to be a daily drivable, comfortable car, I don't see how ford can shed so much weight without using very light and expensive materials, or completely cheap out on the car...or make it a very small car.

I'm just tying to think of all the cars out in the market now that weigh around 3100lbs, and think in my mind about how small they are compared to the mustang.
