What Del Bosque had in mind is a recipe for failure. First of he invited players based on their names not their forms. Carvajal, Lorente, Negredo etc... are not even invited though they all showed great performance during last season. Xavi and Iniesta had a terrible season. Fernando Torres? LOL. Casillas only played 2 or 3 games for his team in the league!
It was clear as sun that the Dutch were going to play defensively as it was clearly shown in the first half before Van Gaal smartly change his system, so why on earth Del Bosque chose defensive midfielders to start the game i have no idea. This is what Del Bosque deserved and this is what he'll get if he arranges team like this. If they don't want to fly home early Del Bosque should have his priorities checked. De Gea has a great season. He should be in. That disaster of a defender, Pique, should be replaced by Martinez though he's a midfielder not a defender. Koke is far better suited for an attacking formation than Busquets. Silva needs to be fed properly to shine, Busquets can't do that.
