From my understanding, that second filter is a hydro carbon trap filter. It is used for emissions and chokes the air going into the engine.

The prototype tube is done and installed on the car. It hasnt been dyno'd as of yet but there is a noticable increase in power!! I will keep you posted!! More pictures to come....
