I'm going to go out on a limb here and say, get the 360. When you already have an M3, why buy another practical sports car? My opinion is that if you are going to get a weekend car, you might as well forget about practicality and buy something radically different that you will truly enjoy driving on those special occasions. I don't see the R8 being differentiated enough from the M3's powerplant to be worth it. The 360 is more than quick enough to get you into trouble, and it has that wonderful mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive layout with a sonorous engine soundtrack.
I think your only question should be, "Can I afford/deal with an expensive maintenance schedule?" If the answer is Yes, go with the 360. If the answer is no, or you are completely averse to a car that might break down once in a while, then go with the R8.
