Out of the factory, this car is probably the most understeering machine BMW ever made. The stock suspension is horrendous for any kind of enthusiastic driving. It needs an LSD dreadfully! But BMW would be afraid that including it will hurt their M-car sales. At the time this was a car much lighter and smaller than the e92 M3. I assume this car had to be “handicapped”

Likewise, it’s been a while for me. The e92 M3 and the 1M are the last BMW’s I really liked
