We have had two dogs in the past, both have past away - one on x-mas night which SUCKED! Anyway, both were rescued from the pound, and I swear they knew that I saved their lives. But now, we are not home enough for dogs. So we moved onto other pets: chickens.
Lets see, we have:
Hens: Marsala, Korma, Schezwan, Barb (short for Bar-b-q), Terri (short for Terreaki) Tikka, and Popcorn. The ones raised from being hatched: Fratatta, sunny (sunny-side up), and Burrito.
Then we have one VERY happy rooster: A La King.
RIP (due to hawks/fox): Fried, Soup, Parmesan, Sweet, Sour, Peanut, Cashew, Catchatori (spelling??), and just two weeks ago: Rosemary.
I would love to have another dog, but they require a lot of care. The chickens, we can fill up their food and water, and they are fine for 5+ days on their own.
Buddys kid me that I am the ONLY person they know that owns both a BMW and chickens!!!
