Congrats! Since you have new construction going on, and if you're a DIY-er, I'd take as many pix as possible during the pre-drywall phase. That way you'll know exactly where gas lines, plumbing, electrical, etc... is routed behind which walls. Now is also a good time to start running wiring for surround sound.
Also, if you can, have the builder run a few empty runs of conduit to the attic area to the breaker panel. You'll save yourself lots of dry walling in the future if you want to add outlets, lighting, etc... later. The joys of assessments is in your future!
