1 series Engines
When I heard the 1 series will have the same exact engines as the 3 series, but it is lighter I got pretty frusterated. How come I have to spend upwards of 40 grand on my 3 to get the performance and now BMW is putting that and more performance into the 1. If you ask me the 1 series should start out with a 4 cylinder and make the upgraded engine the 128i. Also, whats up with the 5 series having the same engines too? If I'm paying 50/60 grand for a car I would expect it to have more power than the car below it, and plus because its heavier. Thats why I bought an A6. To me, BMW seems like it wants to save money here but just throwing all the same engines into every car. So now my 3 series will be outperformed by a 1 series that payed $10,000 less. Shouldnt be.
