I was pretty disappointed with the message that the release of the coupe with the old M3 engine sent in regard to the slow pace of the release of the bi-turbo, and the decision as to whether it would be available in the US market. I am pessimistic about the whole 328/335 rumour for sept 06.
I don´t think there´ll be a hp race with the Cayman. Porsche has it´s hands tied here. The Cayman has an excellent chassis. Give it equal power to the 911 and it´ll outrun it. But Porsche makes at least 10000$ more on any 911 than on any Cayman. So they´ll make damn sure the Cayman doesn´t get too much grunt.

They´ve even stated allready, that htey plan for lesser hp variants of the Cayman but definitely no RS.

Í wonder when the first modder will put a serious motor in the Cayman and what it´ll do with when lined up against the 911s.
