BMWFS will give you a "few" months grace period once your lease expires to decide on the next car. However, you can have up to a 6 month extension so long as you have a car on order. So that should take you to March to place the order and to June to receive the car. The lease terms remain the same during this period.
Some problems you may run into however, are the new lease terms are going to be ridiculous! And if there are any delays in production or delays in being released once stateside, you may be without a car for a couple of wks
