DTM this year should be a bit more exciting with the option tyres and the DRS (though it is somewhat artificial).

In other DTM news, sometime within the next 3 years the DTM Formula will move from 4.0 litre V8's, to 2.0 litre Turbocharged engines, in an effort to standardise the regs with Super GT GT500 class in Japan, and also to meet the desired formula for American DTM.
