I just wanted to personally Thank you for this DIY. Your instructions (and suggestion to buy this part from getbmwparts.com.) were so helpful. The supportive comments from the rest of the individuals on this thread were also valuable. I changed the trim out in my e90 in less than an hour and I was really taking my time. I bought the M3 version.
