...and the year before, we started 6-2... That year, I had the privilege of watching my Lions get beat extremely badly by the Chargers. It's one thing to get blown out in a football city; getting blown out in a fairweather city by people who couldn't even identify half their starters was a pretty shitty experience.
We've relied on two miracles already to be 4-0 instead of 2-2. We've got a lot of shit to work on. Also, I don't think you can fathom the horror that instinctually surfaces any time a QB looks anything like Joey. That dude practically permanently traumatized the entire fan base.
