You moved to the slowest part of FL. My family has lived in Sarasota for like 40 years. It's so much slower than the east coast cities like Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. I lived in Broward County and loved it. Close enough to Miami for going out, far enough away to avoid the worst traffic and crime.
