For those not interested in following the link, DirectTV already broadcasts some UHD, but their new satellite will be up and running Q2 2015.

Glen, we are simply discussing my man. So I too am not trying to be argumentative. I am aware of DirecTV. IMO they have always been the "leader in cable/satellite television". They certainly place an emphasis on technology. That's why I've been with them since 2001.

Regarding streaming 4k on Netflix, yep, I know. And actually the last link/article I posted pointed out the issue with even that.
