^ I haven't had much seat time in the Droid. I played it with a little bit and my first impression was the OS wasn't as intuitive as an IPhone. My Linux comparison was more on the feature rich side of the equation not as much usability.
Could your typical mom figure out an Android vs. Iphone? Maybe you can answer that better since you have more experience with both.
I've used some HTC Phones, all IPhones, and most BBs (work related).
