Ever is a long time. Of course it has happened just the one time, when the legendary BMW V12 LMR
with a WilliamsF1 built chassis and operated by Schnitzer Motorsport took the checkered flag at both at Sebring and Le Mans in 1999. The car was phased out in 2000 in favor of the BMW/Williams Formula 1 program which never really turned out to be a success story, and now BMW is all but out of F1..... hmmm.
The BMW V12 LMR weighed 900 Kilos, featured a naturally aspirated BMW Motorsport V-12 that produced 580-hp and was capable of a top speed of 350 kmph.
