Oh, and the Camaro SS ran a 8:19 lap at the Ring, which is a damn good time.
The CTS-V ran a 7:59.... Nothing to scoff at by any means....

The base V-6 Camaro gets over 300HP.... It's not your daddy's V-6 wanna-be Z28. And the Z28 is going to be ridiculous. Of course, it'll be made of "chintzy plastic" right? I love how so many fanboys on this forum decide just because a domestic automaker comes out with a car, it'll be plasticky and cheap. Truth is, while this is the case a majority of the time, GM specifically has been getting a lot better. And the Z28 will run absolute circles around a 335 down the street, on a strip, or at the track. For a whole lot less. I think that's what really gets everyones' panties in a bunch...

Too bad this is exactly the car GM DOES NOT need right now, and they should have released it 3 years ago. But this is exactly why they're dying....
