So I made a Shepards pie using pizza Dough..... Had some leftover pizza dough. Let's just say it was a learning experience. I've been getting pretty good making home made pizza, so figured why not...
Lesson 1. Cook bottom side of the pie pizza dough 95% cooked, cause once you put all the "stuff" on it, it ain't cooking anymore.
Lesson 2. Don't use pizza dough. By a pre-made pie shell.
It was good at the end, just messy and nothing one would serve to company.. No pics, take my word for it..
PS
If one is this daring, has leftover pizza dough, and has a craving for Shepards pie, make a Shepards pie "calzone" instead.
