I think you have experienced a ridiculously expensive maintenance scenario. I’ve spent almost nothing out of pocket in a 2010 335i. Granted, nowhere near the miles, but I have 11 years in the car.
My friend has a 2009 328 with 205,000 and he told me he’s spent $9,000 on maintenance. It’d be half that if it was DIY.
