A car needs to "speak" to you on an emotional level and, for some reason, the Viper never has for me. I can very much appreciate the performance but would never buy one regardless. Unfortunately for SRT, this is a big problem as no one seems to be willing to buy one and I bet the price reduction helps a bit but doesn't fix the lack of desire for the car. I don't think $15,000 impacts a purchase decision on an $85-100k car that much if the car sparks desire in buyers. It would matter for some people but for many, the pure "need to have it" would outweigh the $15,000 price change if the car was the right car... unfortunately for the Viper, it has proven not to be the right car for many as sales are dismal. |
I feel the same way, its a nice car. I respect it, i love looking them. but i cant seem to really want one. as they dropped there price is also means people agree with us.
