I've been having a random problem with my car, I am not sure at all what the problem is though... My car is an 09 E90 sedan. No comfort access.

Sometimes the door acts wonky and does not open with the fob. By that I mean I can hear the door "trying" to open when I hit the unlock button, but it just doesn't. So I have to go inside the car with the physical key start the car and unlock it, start the car, then press the center unlock button to unlock the rest of the doors.

Any ideas what is going on? I want to get an idea of the problem so I can explain in detail to get some warranty work done.

Hope most of you will agree that adding Brembo set (over $8K) to lease car is not the most practically solution especially if your major objective is to achieve better look. After some research on this forum I found that bigger break from x5M can be fitted on x5, but seems that no one confirmed that x6M break can be fitted to x6 (3.5/5.0). Does anyone was able to make this trick?

Also if any other option exists for bigger, better looking break for x6 (3.5/5.0) please share your knowledge. Thanks.

Hey guys, I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'm just finishing up the BMW Performance Suspension install and I'm a bit confused about the front sway bar bushings.

The new front bar came with some narrower (glued on?) bushings, however the kit also included a set of new front sway bar bushings in addition. I've attached a couple of pictures to help illustrate.

Do you know if I'm supposed to peel off the existing bushings or just use the narrower bushings that are already attached to the bar?

Thanks a lot!

I know this may not be the right place but also have set of 261M's if you know anyone who may be interested....

The rims are in a bad condition aesthetically but 100% structurally. The front two are worst thanks to the previous owner using them as a park distance indicator. Looking for $400 ono given you will have to spend $480 to refurbish the kerb rash and entrenched brake dust based on the quotes I have received. The quote included painting in choice of colour (Perth Rim Repairs - Cannington).
I do plan on going stage 2+ when I get my downpipes installed.

Let's not beat around the bush here. People with 2013 M5s, how pissed are you about the MY2014 and competition package changes only 1 year after we bought our cars? Maybe we can get someone's attention with this post. BMW has a right to maximize their profits just like every other company that puts out products after already designing the next version of them. the only problem with this approach is in the long term they will piss off enough of its customer base that we will spend our good money elsewhere just out of spite. what they fail to realize is that there are less and less real differences between high performance cars. the most important intangible thing is brand loyalty, and they are sabotaging themselves by making our less than 1 year old M5s seem outdated.

respect.
